Is Kū Mai Ka Hula going to be an in-person or virtual competition?

This yearʻs Kū Mai Ka Hula competition will be a live performance held at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center for one day only - on Saturday, September 12th.

Can you take photos and video at the competition?

Yes, you are able to take photos and video during the competition for personal use only. Please no flash photography or use of a tripod. Also please be mindful of others behind you by remaining seated. If you are posting to social media please use #kumaikahula
